The Schlitzer Korn- und Edelobstbrennerei, located in the beautiful medieval town of Schlitz, is one of Germany’s oldest distilleries dating back to 1585.
We manufacture 31 different premium spirits.
Our premium fruit brandies, fruit juice liquors, herb liquors and the famous “Burgenkümmel” (caraway) and “Schlitzer Korn”, matured in oak-barrels, are well-known and very popular throughout the region and beyond.
The first-class quality of our spirits is annually inspected and certified by the DLG (German Society for Agriculture). Our distillery won the “Golden Price of the Best” for the seventeenth time this year and our "Himbeergeist" (raspberry brandy) was voted best spirit of Germany.
